I am also getting an error when trying to use this program with Gmail. Using it with my ISP settings works great, but smtp.gmail.com/userid/pw settings does not. I get a "Must issue a STARTTLS command first. a12sm6511944and.36" error when I run a test with the "Server requires Authentication" box unchecked. Running it with the box checked results in a blank error dialog box. I'm using the current version 1.31.

Is there an instruction sheet for setting up the program to run with Gmail? I noticed one of the new features with this release was a statement that it works with Gmail.

I'm using Gmail and it works fine, just checked again to be sure:

My Settings

Smtp Host
smtp.gmail.com

UserID
account@gmail.com

Smtp Port:
587

Server Requires Authentication : checked

Hope this helps
