It is a free open-source online service created by Johann C. Rocholl. When you submit your web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will open your website in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here. If you don't want to wait in the job queue, you can get Priority processing for your screenshots by simply paying $15.00. This means that your URLs don't have to wait in the job queue, they will be processed before all other requests. You will usually get 10 to 20 screenshots within 1 to 3 minutes. The priority service is attached to your user account and includes all domains that you may want to test. They have integrated payment processing into Browsershots, so that your priority will be activated instantly and can be paid with Paypal or any Credit Card.
